ORGANIZING, DONE DIGITAL: A new website backed by the Massachusetts AFL-CIO will allow unions to generate their own online membership forms, according to the tool’s creators. The website, UnionSignUp.com, could make it easier for workers to re-enroll in a union, too. If the Supreme Court, as anticipated, rules against “fair share fees” that unions collect from non-members to cover their portion of collective bargaining costs, the online forms could make it easier for wayward members to rejoin.
